July 17 thru 22, 2011 (37th International Convention)

8 members attended the 37th International Convention in Chesapeake Va. Although the temperatures were in the upper 90's and low 100's for the week, a good time was had (it seemed) by all. There were many rides, planned trips, breakfasts daily, meals 4 nights, and hospitality every night with music. There were skills events, a uniform competition, and a karaoke contest. Next year the 38th will be in Tyler Tx. Til next time

July 16, 2011 (Saturday Breakfast Ride)

9 members met at the assigned place. It was decided to go to Safety Harbor to one of the two places there. Athens was open so we had no need to go farther. After Bruce let his motorcycle fall in the dirt, we all went in for breakfast. It was yummy, Tom and I had Greek food while everyone else ate a more traditional breakfast. Prices are good, service is good, and food was delish! T was the only Blue Knightie present and got to enjoy all the usual conversations about chrome, Obama, gas, and other body functions, as well as stories from the job on her own!!! Everyone traveling this week be safe. HUGS!!!! T

July 9, 2011 (Saturday Breakfast Ride)

9 members came out for breakfast this morning. We went to two places that are no longer in business. We tried a new place The Sunset Grille. It was wonderful. Food was good, service was good, and prices were also good. We had a very good server who was enjoyable to be around. She knew her job, the area ,and the biker community. See you all at our meeting! Ride safe and hug someone when you get there!!! T.

July 4, 2011 (Safety Harbor Parade)

10 members came out to the Safety Harbor American Legion Post 238 parade. It was hot and enjoyable. After we had a hotdog and beer at the Post we headed out to have family moments. Thats the great thing about this event. You can do it and still have all day for other stuff. Be safe T

July 2, 2011 (Saturday Breakfast Ride)

6 members met at the preassigned area and went to The Windmeal Inn. A few of our guys were hungry for wet raisin toast. It looked good.I had sausage and bisquits and gravy fyi it was good there. They are related to Ted's Lunchinette so they have a great omellette called Junkyard much like Ted's Garbage. Prices are right they take pride in their excellent service. See you all Monday, be safe and hugs T.
