SEPTEMBER 2010
September 25, 2010 (Saturday Multi-Chapter Breakfast Ride)
9 members attended BK-FLXXIX's 2nd annual multi chapter breakfast at the "Sizzler" in Kissimmee. There were about 85 members or their guests in attendance. It seems we are not the only chapter with health problems and suffering a loss. The president of chapter 29 had a tiny cut get so infected his heart became threatened. He is home now with wound care visiting him three times a day. We have added Don M. to our prayer list. He went in for a tune- up and ended up having open heart surgery. We think he is awaiting release from the hospital so he can begin recuperating at home. Our Mark Longway will be laid to rest on Monday September 27, 2010. A young man who was a active officer in South Carolina and a Blue Knight was killed just last week. And lest we not forget Uncle Joe in the hospital with boo boos on his unit, and mrsa infection. Our praying knees should be getting calluses after the last few weeks. We also need to remember Jimmy Betts. He has a knee problem and teeth problems. Love you all and hope you all feel good soon. Breakfast was good the camaraderie was fine. the ride was not to wet. Till next time T.....
September 23, 2010 (Thursday Dinner Ride)
14 members met at the 5 Boroughs Sports Bistro in Spring Hill. Odie came out with Jimmy and says she feels back to normal. She had back problems fixed. Barb Griffin also reports her arm to be healing properly. Roland and Bruce Gralow came from other counties. We missed Joe E. and hope he feels better soon. The food was very good as always. We had very good service. They knew what the Blue Knights were and wanted us to leave happy. I think that no one had any complaints that B and I heard. We continue to pray for Laura Longway as her grief must be horrific. Until Saturday see you all and ride safe. Love Hugs and What the hell even kisses. T.......
September 11, 2010 (BK-FLXVIII 9/11 Remembrance Ride)

Then we pressed on to participate in BK-FLXVIII's Manatee County 9/11 Remembrance Ride. The total number of bikes was almost 700, We rode along the beaches waving to the many passer bys. On the way home we got very wet. However everyone got home safe. Till next time T.....
September 11, 2010 (Saturday Breakfast Ride)
7 members and 1 guest met at CMS for the breakfast ride. Most of the regulars were not there due to the groups traveling and members taking part in morning 9/11 Remembrances. Since there was a number of us there that were taking part in afternoon and evening events, we decided to go to Country Boy in Dunedin as it was close and central. The service, food, and prices were all good. After we ate everyone went there own way to the event of their choice. Til next time-------------
September 4, 2010 (Saturday Breakfast Ride)
10 members and 3 guests. We had a nice group being as some of us are away. We once again were joined by sweet little Miss Sydnie. Cory also brought Jamie and his Mom. It was nice to see Mom she is looking very well. I haven't seen her in a while. Mike had Evie with him again. She seems like a real nice person. We went to The Covered Bridge. Breakfast was really yumm! They have huge really really huge pancakes and home made corn beef hash. Prices very good. there was a mix up though and 5 of us got our food about 20 minutes after everyone else. One of the plates was Syd's and do you know she was so well behaved. Usually little ones can't sit that long waiting. She did really well. We went along a small bit of coast line to get from the meeting place to the restaurant and then Bruce and I rode along the water a bit more to come back to Spring Hill. All in all a nice day. See you all at our meeting on Thursday and have a safe holiday weekend. Hugs T.....
