AUGUST 2010

August 28, 2010 (Saturday Breakfast Ride)

16 members met at the secret rendezvous at the predetermined time for the breakfast ride. The usual guys were joined by three lovely ladies. Mike had a friend named Evie, Corey and Gampy (Jimmy S.) were joined by sweet little Sydnie, and Bruce was accompanied with me. It was decided to eat at Tiffany's Family Restaurant. We were the small group. A party of 20 was due in about 30 minutes after our orders were taken. Coffee was kept full, orders were taken and filled prompt like, prices were okay. Everyone got plenty of food and the room got very quiet. After eating we went outside to discuss a member's speaker and microphone and it's wires. I heard a lot of comments about hard heads. Everyone agreed that they get jerked and tugged around on to much. I have been told to keep things pg so all I can say is speaker wires must be like really fragile.... What are you thinking?????? Get your mind out of the gutter. Till next time T...

August 21, 2010 (Saturday Breakfast Ride)

It was pouring at 7:30am in Spring Hill when it was time to leave for the breakfast ride, so the alternate transportation was used to go to the meeting place. 10 members met. Most braving through the rain on bikes. We went to Kozy Korner Restaurant in Clearwater. Breakfast was served timely. I Don't think anyone went out after. Everyone just wanted to stay dry. There are many chances to see each other this week. Hope everyone stays dry and safe T...

August 14, 2010 (Saturday Breakfast Ride)

9 members met at CMS at the normal time for the breakfast ride. Peter D. came by said Hi and then went to his Mom's. We also were joined by Jimmy B., Jimmy S., and Gary J. Bobby B., Joe E., and Roland C. were there too. We went to Central Park Family Restaurant. They had a extensive list of omelets. They also kept the coffee and ice water coming. The bill was fair, service good, and food was good. Five of us went to Jim's Harley Davidson after eating. Someone's breakfast outing ended up costing around $20,000.00. We won't say whose!! You know when these guys get new bikes they talk to each other like new Moms talking about their bikes the way young moms gush about their babies. They all have advice and warnings . Our guys are so cute!! Well I've got to go for groceries and dinner. Till next time be safe and eat well!! T...

August 7, 2010 (Saturday Breakfast Ride)

It was raining at 7:30am when it was time to leave for the breakfast ride, so we took the alternate transportation to the predetermined meeting place. We quickly grew into a group of 12 plus 1 guest. We saw some faces we have not seen in a while. Corey and his family, as well as Gary. It is always so great to see Uncle Joe after he's been away awhile. After teasing Joe about his mishaps on the road. The guys decided to go to Farmer Boy on Drew St. Our orders were taken, coffee poured, and food arrived good and in a timely manner. B and I came home as I have worked a lot extra this week and needed to sleep. Some of us went to a benefit for a man who was a police chief and got hurt in Iraq. It was in Lutz. We hope it was a dry safe day for everyone. See you all Thurs. at our meeting. Hugs and safe travels, T.
