December 27, 2009 Sunday - 9 members met at the BK to take part in the last Chapter ride of 2009. When we got there it was just Joe E. then others arrived. Again Patti and I represented our ladies. Mike and Jimmy did a great job leading us to Lake Placid and Mike led us back to the interstate to get home. Thank you guys, super ride!! Right when I was sure the drink of the day was a hot toddy it started feeling warmer. Patti and I both felt a need to take our scarves off as the bikes traveled south. I also got my other scarf and gloves off as well as undoing my jacket. It was a long way to go for that particular destination. However, being in the company of such a fun group always makes the day groovy. We ran into only a few rain drops and got home at about 5:30ish. I liked Patti's idea of going farther south to South Beach but the retired guys were not up to it. Till next time hugs and kisses and may you all enjoy yourselves and good health in 2010! T

December 26, 2009 Saturday - 13 members met on this cool, damp, overcast morning at the preselected location and time for the breakfast ride. Patti and I had the pleasure of accompanying the guys to Eve's. Peter D. has his adorable grandson with him. Eve's has home made corn beef hash! Yumm, not like Yanny's with all the veggies but very good none the less. The other dish on special was a quickie with a fruit. Joe E. enjoyed his hard banana with his fruit. Patti also had a quickie with a fruit and Roland did not seem to mind. We had Mike from Ohio with us. Roland and Mike went riding around after breakfast. Patti took her Hummer and went shopping. Bruce and I went to a wake on the way home. I got my kids and did some clothes swapping at Old Navy. My son is growing like a weed and Santa got the wrong size. Apparently our's was not the only house though, the fitting room lines backed out and around the little girl dept. Our dog almost wound up with a few baby dresses. Something about those little clothes. Perry and his brother Mike came out as did Peter B. It was also good to see our President. He is such a sweetie! Tony G. came out today too! Those crazy Ohioans! Well till tomorrow, everyone have fun. Hugs and kisses T.

December 13, 2009 Sunday - 80 members plus guests attended the Edelmann Family Reunion (the Chapter Christmas party) today. The food was great. Eric you fry a wonderful bird. The caterer also had much to much good stuff to eat. The gift exchange was fun. It was set up for getting tipsy and having a hangover. There was Jack Daniels, Baileys, Godiva liquor, and even a bottle of the Captain. The hang over cure floating about the room was Duncan Donuts coffee and a couple baskets with tea. Seeing everyone was great fun, however some of you were not there. We missed you. Hope you are feeling better. All the children and babies in attendance were a welcome sight. Margie and Eli have the cutest little doll of a girl. Enjoy her while it lasts guys! The Blue Knight Chorus had us all sing The Twelve Days of Christmas. Mr. Schmitt had 6 geese a doin it. I said six geese layin each other. Also someone gave someone 10 French whores instead of French hens. I don't know who would say such a naughty thing. Many found humor in me walking around all day in my stocking feet. I guess I just feel so comfortable around you all I thought I'd kick my shoes off and sit a spell. OR maybe Merlot makes my clothes come off. According to George Strait the shoes are the first to go. In any case, THANKS Uncle Joe and Aunt Marie. It was good to see you all! It would really rock to have that kind of a turn out for a ride. Hope you all are enjoying the holiday season! Hugs and kisses T.

December 12, 2009 Saturday - after the rain and cool days of the past, this morning was great the sun was out and the temperatures were tepid. 10 members and 2 guests met at the rendezvous for the breakfast ride. We all got really good service and the food was good. We went to Kozy Korner. Peter D. was Mr. Pixel as Joe E. is entertaining this weekend. We were all going to cruise by his place and rev the engines in prelude of the Edelmann Family Reunion tomorrow, but people all got on their bikes and went various ways. (I think the term from "On Golden Pond" was Old Poo!) I may be to fat to look like her as I used to, but I still remember Hepburn's better movies lines. Excuse me I digress away from the topic sometimes. Bruce and I went by Jim's HD to get chili cook off rules. I spent the afternoon making cookie dough. I hope to see everyone at the Christmas Party (The Edelmann Family Reunion). For those I don't see there Cheers, Happy Holidays, Good Health, and Much Prosperity. I feel truly blessed to be among you all through out the year! T.

December 6, 2009 Sunday - 13 members and 2 guests met at 8:30am or earlier at Jim's HD in St. Petersburg on this COOL morning to participate in the 22nd Annual Jim Rosenkrans' Memorial Toy Run. Ksu was at 10am starting the 35 mile escorted ride through the City to and along the beach, then back through the City to Jim's for the party including an ayce pulled pork, roll, beans, and slaw lunch (if you wanted to wait in line). There were 1400+ bikes and 1800+ people in attendance and we were the 2nd group to leave putting us within the first 50 bikes at the front of the line. The ride was well planned and well escorted making it a safe fun filled day. Thanks go to all who were involved. Til next time---

December 5, 2009 Saturday - 7 members met at CMS on this rainy morning for breakfast and camaraderie. A girl could not ask for better company during breakfast, Joe E., Peter D., Ron D., Claude our smooth talking French Dude, and Wayne our club move to the middle of no where for many months guy. And, lest I not forget Brucie. He was feeling kind of cantankerous. After he ate he almost smiled a few times. Then the boys started talking about their colons and go lightly, all of them were smiling. Something about a Saturday morning breakfast gets them talking about their colon cleansing experiences with the same enthusiasm as women at a Lamaze reunion discussing the birth of their precious darlings. Breakfast was good. We ate at Country Harvest the steak and egg special was super. I ate and brought some home for our little dog. My kids refer to her affectionately as their ugly little step sister. After breakfast Bruce went and pre-registered for Jim's Toy Run, then we went grocery shopping. Sweet Bay had a bargain on King Crab. Hope to see you all at the meeting and Christmas Party! Hugs and warmest holiday wishes. T
