Hi Dennis,
 
Having just returned to a very cold and wet England ... and I mean COLD, my thoughts are definately back in Florida!
 
When I initially mailed you I had no idea of the exceptional way both Tina and I would be received. We were both astounded by the hospitality and friendship extended to both us and to our friends Dennis & Diane. I would like to thank you for the time and efforts that you went to on our behalf and also for the gifts you so kindly provided. You run a great Chapter and I would hope to be able to visit again.
 
Can I also say that we spent some time with Peter who not only loaned me a BMW to ride for a day, but who also took Dennis on as his pillion. We spent the day riding in the sun with Vic who joined us on his Suzuki. Peter also invited us around for an evening just before we flew home for a BBQ with his wife Barbara.
 
This had been our first contact with a Chapter in another country and it will not be one we will ever forget. There will always be a warm welcome for any of the Chapter venturing across to our cooler climate.
 
I will be doing a full write up for my members and placing it on the website for all to see and I will let you know when I get that done.
 
We landed at 9am Friday morning and travelled to our friends in Oxford (where we are now) so that we could rest whilst the jet lag hit us. Boy, has it hit us! We will be travelling home tomorrow afternoon and then it will be back to reality with work on Monday.
 
Thanks again for your friendship and I look forward to meeting up again in the future.

Officers,

My name is SSG James Partin, I have been serving in the Army Military Police Corps. for 10 years now. I lived most of my life in Riverview and probably as a hard headed teenager had a run in with one or two of you. I don’t get home very much anymore and I certainly don’t have run ins with you guys which is probably a good thing. I am writing though to tell you guys that from the first time I had a “run in” with Tampa’s finest I always wanted to be one of you. Well ten years in to this and it looks like I am sticking it out but you should know that along with my mom who called you guys once or twice to scare some sense in to me I owe it to you folks. I love being an MP and love to help people in need and I owe a lot of it to you guys who showed me that sometimes the tough route is the best route. Thank you for all that you do as a organization and the life you men and women choose. Someday I hope to be out riding bikes with you guys when I get doing what has to be done.
